Meet Fr. Luke Strand, Vocation Director
The call of our Lord is personal, concrete, life-changing and robust. Jesus said to his disciples, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men (Mt. 4:19)." It is a call that requires a redefinition of oneself in communion with the Heart of Christ. Jesus wants everything. It is a humbling mission to invite men to offer everything for Christ and to serve Him and His Church as priests. As the Vocation Director for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, I am convicted that as men encounter Christ through prayer, service and intentional Christian community, they will be drawn by Jesus into His priesthood. It is a joy to serve alongside Fr. Enrique Hernandez, as we strive to create a culture of vocations throughout the Archdiocese. Together we hope to nurture priestly vocations through a relational ministry to youth and young adult men. I look forward to meeting with you to share the joy of the priesthood and the mission of the Church: "Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things shall be yours as well" (Mt. 6:33). I will be praying for you every day. Please keep me in yours.
In His Most Sacred Heart,
Fr. Luke Strand
