Applying to the Seminary

One's call to the priesthood is confirmed not only in the movements of his own heart, but also through the confirmation by the Church. After prayer and consultation, the man who is called steps forward and applies for admission to the seminary. As Pope Benedict has said, could God "not have chosen someone else, someone more capable, more holy?  But Jesus has fixed His loving eyes specifically on each one of us and we must trust in the look expressed in those eyes." If you feel that call in your heart then, as our Holy Father goes on to say, "plunge deep into His love and give Him your love in return!"
