High School

Give these a try:

1. Get involved in parish, school, or community service. You will hone your leadership skills and begin to experience the challenges of motivating and building goup consensus.

2. Get involved in forensics, debate, or drama. All of these activities can help you deal with stage fright and give you confidence in thinking on your feet.

3. Run for student council or class office. You will gain leadership and diplomacy skills needed by a priest to help a parish move forward.

4. Talk to your guidance counselor or college recruiters about your goals. By defining goals, you can ask questions to help you find a college that will meet your needs.

5. Visit Saint Francis Seminary. The vitality of student life and the pastoral setting may change your perception of seminary life.

You have talents and abilities that set you apart. As you make plans for college, consider the advantages of a Catholic institution.

If you're thinking about priesthood, any major is acceptable, BUT a liberal arts program at a Roman Catholic institution, including courses in philosophy and theology, can meet the academic prerequisites for the Priestly Formation Program at St. Francis Seminary.

COLLEGE PROGRAM: VISITORS WELCOME!
