Aaron Esch Ordained to Diaconate in Rome

Seminarian Aaron Esch was ordained to the Diaconate on October 9, 2008 at The Altar of the Chair - The Papal Basilica of Saint Peter, Vatican City State.

The Ordaining Prelate was our Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, Bishop William Patrick Callahan, OFM Conv.
Aaron's anticipated Ordination to the Priesthood is 2009.

The Sacrament of Holy Orders is conferred by the Laying on of Hands and the Prayer of Ordination. In this most ancient part of the Sacrament of Holy Orders, the Bishop follows the gesture of the Apostles in laying his hands. upon each of the Elect, calling down the Holy Spirit upon them. All panicipate in silence, in a faith-filled recognition that it is the Holy Spirit who speaks and acts through the Bishop in the ordination of deacons.
