Brilliant, intelligent, good looking, quick witted and very very humble.
While reading the Sermons of St. Anthony I developed the desire to give myself entirely to God. I thought the best way to do this would be by joining a religious order, however, I was unable to find an order that I felt drawn too. After looking at religious orders I met with Father Luke who told me about the life of the diocesan priest. I feel that, although we do not take all three of the evangelical counsels, because of the duties and responsibilities that will be placed upon us, we have an opportunity to pour ourselves out completely in the service of God. In this way, we can respond to Christ who gave himself completely to us, so that we would give ourselves completely to him.
Letting go of his own will and desires.
Magnus Dominus et laudabilis nimis, Et magnitudinis eius non est investigation. "Great is the Lord and worthy of much praise, whose grandeur is beyond understanding." (PS 145:3)
This verse demonstrates the inexpressible nature of God and our inability to fully grasp who he is. Nevertheless, as Augustine said, God encourages us to praise him because he made us for himself and our heart is restless until it rests in him.
Reading and working out.
In my room.
I have not found the right place yet. I have relatively poor study habits.
