Fourth Theology
Parish: Our Blessed Savior Parish, Milwaukee
Seminary: Saint Francis de Sales
Birthday: October 27
Intercessor: Our Blessed Mother Mary
I am amiable, easy going and a very friendly person. I am very enthusiastic and passionate about God and the church. I am doing my second year in theological studies.
I come from the South Eastern part of Nigeria, West Africa. I came from a very devout family of seven children, three boys and four girls. There is a preponderance of Christians and mostly Catholics in my own part of Nigeria. I sensed the vocation to the priesthood early in life as an altar server, but God led me to have some experience of the business world before embracing the call fully. At this point the call became very loud and irresistible that all my excuses could no more suffice. My saying “Yes” to the call has given me indescribable peace and serenity. First, I graduated from a master’s program in Jewish Christian Studies from the Seton Hall University in New Jersey. I discerned my vocation for two years with the Priest of the Sacred Heart before I felt the leading of God to join the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. I am trusting the good Lord to see me through my priestly formation and ultimately anoint me as his holy priest who will bring his message of love, hope and faithfulness to his people.
For me, the greatest challenge facing a man considering the seminary is total surrender to the will of God who calls people to his vineyard. The world is offering many attractions and distractions. One must be bold and courageous to embrace the call.
Honestly, it is difficult for me to select one Psalm as my favorite. This is because I love the Psalms and in fact the entire scriptures with passion. For the sake of this bio, I would say Psalm 65 especially verse 4. This is because it talks about how blessed we are to be chosen by God to live in his house.
I like walking, singing, meeting people, and making new friends.
I love to pray at the shrine of Our Lady the Blessed Virgin Mary. I also like to pray outdoors where I can raise my hands and connect to heaven.
I study best at the Library where I can have access to books and materials I need for my projects.
I will like people to intercede for me through St Anthony of Padua, miracle worker and finder of lost items.
